This compact rail system from Defender Tactical offers two, 4-slot picatinny rails for Mossberg 500/Maverick 88 12-gauge firearms. The Dual Rail is machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum and is hard-coat anodized in Black for increased durability. A color-matched swivel screw and nylon washer are provided to easily attach the system over the Takedown Screw for a simple 30-second installation.
Fits most Mossberg 500/Maverick 88 series firearms with a drilled and tapped Takedown Screw, as shown in the picture below.

The hardest part for me was getting the old screw on my takedown loosened. After I got that off it was 30 seconds to screw this adapter on. Sits in a great spot; no issues working the pump.
It took like 5 minutes to install the dual rail adapter on my Maverick 88. Now, I just got to figure out what to attach to it, lol.

Installation was quick and easy. I mounted one of my pistol lights. It works great and is easily accessible. Still need to shoot it with the light mounted, but don’t expect any issues.
