This rail system offers two 3-slot picatinny rails for Mossberg 590/Shockwave .410 Bore firearms. This kit includes a rail system machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum and a steel swivel screw. The rail has a black hard-coat anodized finish to match the firearm's factory finish and for increased durability. Attaches over the magazine cap for an easy 30-second installation. the instructions were not very clear on how to install but after watching a similar YouTube video I was able to install it and mounted a laser/flashlight combo and it seems to be very solid. have not shot the shotgun yet but seems good so far
After buying a 12ga Shockwave and equipping it with a dedicated forend light/laser combo, I got a .410 Shockwave for my wife. But there is not a dedicated forend light, aftermarket M-Lok style forend, or other light mounting option to be found for the .410, until now.
This little guy goes on super easy and provides a solid mount for the O-Light Balder Pro. It is very nearly perfect.
The light controls are within reach, the light/mount combo is very lightweight, and I can pop the light off in seconds if I prefer. A dedicated forend light has a lot going for it, but it adds a pound to the front of the gun and makes the whole thing feel heavy and unwieldy, while this light setup weighs next to nothing.

There aren't many accessories on the market for a .410 gauge Mossberg 590. This adapter fits, is easy to install and functions as expected. I use mine to hold a laser/light.
Out of the packaging and on to the Mossberg. It took about 5 minutes and feels solid. Looking forward to adding a light and laser to it... now that I have a place to hang them.
