This Rear Grip Enhancement Kit includes an adjustable swivel-mounted recoil strap and a Black texturized rubber grip sleeve with finger groove.  This kit will fit bird's head style rear grips with installed swivel stud.  Kit includes stud for platforms with no factory installed swivel stud.  Works great with firearms like the Mossberg Shockwave and Remington 870 TAC-14 and TAC-13.

For Mossberg 990 Aftershock or other QD style grips, this adapter is also required!

Great addition

Great addition to the shockwave- it should be included standard.

Instantly feels better in my hands!

If you have a birds head just buy this. I instantly felt like it has more control. I installed my strap backwards to help me choke up on the grip closer to the trigger and I like the results that way. While a bit difficult to put on I like the end results and believe this is going to be a great addition. Thanks again!

Nice upgrade!

I took the handle off for the install. It took a little effort to get it on but it was all good. To make it fit right I turned the sling stud 1/4 turn and it's fine. Maybe the included stud would tighten down correctly but I didnt get that far. Im perfectly happy with it. A swivel ring would also work but may make it uncomfortable. All and all a well thought out nice product. Installed mine with strap through grip. Perfect.

990? Get the swivel adapter!

I didn't have the 990 actually in hand when I ordered the grip kit. I thought thd screw-in kit would work. To be fair, it says you need one but I thought the one in the kit would work. Spoiler: it didn't. The one in the kit is a threaded, screw in. Get the QD ball-detent version.
BTW Sleeve installation is a chore, but it definitely stays put.
