This Rear Grip Enhancement Kit includes an adjustable swivel-mounted recoil strap and a Black texturized rubber grip sleeve with finger groove.  This kit will fit bird's head style rear grips with installed swivel stud.  Kit includes stud for platforms with no factory installed swivel stud.  Works great with firearms like the Mossberg Shockwave and Remington 870 TAC-14 and TAC-13.

For Mossberg 990 Aftershock or other QD style grips, this adapter is also required!

Really Works!

I was a little skeptical at firsts thinking that the strap would help steady the gun and help with recoil but with the grip sleeve and the strap it really works well and I’m glad I purchased it. Another well thought out design by the boys in the lab!

Spot on upgrade!

The 12g shockwave isn’t a firearm to trifle with. The grip provides welcome grip, well named….(I wish it was a little longer, I’ve adjusted it to line up with the handle/receiver seam but it knows where it wants to be. It could be a quarter+ inch longer on each end.) It also covers the inner half of the recoil strap that is brilliant. The connection to the sling swivel is perfect, the back of the Velcro strap is pleasingly soft (I had trepidations). To be fair I’ve only shot Hater-Tots thus far, waiting for the prolifter to be restocked and expand the shell size, but the enhancement package gives me a confidence muckling onto and wielding the gun. Another well thought and implemented upgrade from Defender Tactical, THANK YOU!!!

Cheap feel.

This strap is the best design out there. Too bad it feels cheap.
The rubber grip cover ripped easily during install so I ended up using tape to secure the strap to the grip.
The velcro strap itself is surprisingly light-duty and should be more robust.

Sorry you had trouble with your rubber grip, did you watch the installation video? We've sold thousands of these without issue, but occasionally a customer will damage their grip while trying to install it. This usually happens when you try to pull it over a sharp corner instead of lift it over. If you reach out to us we are happy to send you a replacement grip and a link to the installation video at no charge.
