Super easy to install. Took me under 3 minutes. I used a long flat head screwdriver and placed it in the hole the lightly tapped it to lift the cap off. Go side to side and be careful the spring doesn’t fly out. I ran my snake bore and cleaned the tube then applied some graphite for smooth loading. Then made sure the defender words were in correct position. Added the spring back making sure it was in correct position. Bottom is flat against the follower and top is tapered. Then gently tapped the cap back in place just below the tube.

The red anodized follower is a great addition, runs smooth and easy to see at a glance compared to the factory one. Fast shipping.
I have two and they are great ... smooth as glass but ... just a fraction to long I have to really push hard to get that last shell in.

Mine is a 1970's ex US Navy shotgun and the orginal follower was looking a little worse for wear. Replaced it with this one. It's nice and easy to see when the magazine is empty and works flawlessly without messing with the look of my firearm. Very please
