I have an spx shockwave, I was able to make this forend fit and function by bending in the heat shield and I took a razor blade and SLIGHTLY shaved the inside upper edge of the forend that is against the heat shield. Perfect fit, cycling is smooth with no hangups. The strap attachment is WAY better than factory, the factory attachment point would dang near cut you, this one is recessed perfectly to where it’s smooth. Perfect execution by def tac!
Love this forend. There's not many to choose from with Shockwaves but this one absolutely blows the rest out of the water. The soft material is only on the ribbed portion so it doesn't feel like you're grabbing a giant piece of rubber. It's only where you need it to be. Perfect fit and finish.
This DT grip is a great upgrade to the 590S. Rather than feeling cheap plastic, you're able to get a solid grip on the rubber surface and with the extended top portion, you can protect your hands from touching the barrel.
