** This Kit Helps Correct High Shooting ** This kit contains "SafetySight", our new ergonomically-designed safety switch that integrates a rear sighting reference into the switch, and "HighBall", our oversized front bead sight. This kit also includes a custom replacement screw, a spare stainless steel detent ball and an Allen wrench for easy installation.

"SafetySight" is our new ergonomically-designed safety switch that integrates a rear sighting reference into the switch. Unlike the factory switch and most aftermarket models, "SafetySwitch" has been designed without any sharp edges and is machined from solid 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy, then hard-coat anodized in Flat Black or Red.

"HighBall" is our Oversized Front Bead Sight which is not only easier to see, but the extended height helps correct high shooting that is caused by the short factory front bead. HighBall is machined from solid Marine Brass and is passivated for increased corrosion resistance.

*Steel detent plate must be used underneath SafetySight. If your firearm did not include one from the factory, please reach out to us and we can help you source it. See install video before attempting to remove your safety!*

Well made, install with basic tools

Pull up YouTube videos to install this. Basic tools needed but the spring and nut inside gun can get a little tricky to hold while putting in screw. Completely doable with a little patience. Great product if your looking to get a minimalist smooth profile and don't want a bunch of crap mounted on top of your shotgun.

Excellent Quality

This sight package is of excellent quality, and their order and delivery process is world-class. Make sure you watch the video carefully before changing the safety switch. It will save you a heap of trouble if you make sure the slide is locked back before starting.

High Right POI fixed!!!

Like most older mossberg owners I was plagued with high right POI especially with slugs. (And when I say high right I mean at 50 meters I was aiming at the floor to hit the steel!) This is due to recevier being so much higher than the bead that the shooter tilts the barrel up and right to see the bead. Between this kit and high ball sight its completely fixed my POI and I am very impressed.
Easy to fit and doesn't mess with ascetic of the firearm.
Please note on older Shotguns (mine is 1970's single action bar) the safety switch is an M4 screw instead of the provided M3 screw however this can easily be sourced and a M4 drill bit ran through the safety switch to accommodate the larger screw.
I also want to point out defender tactical were extremely helpful, professional and easy to deal with and even sourced me a detent plate (as they are hard to come by in the UK all on back order and cost about £45!!) as mine didn't have one as it had the old steel safety switch they sourced one quickly for a fraction of that price.
Extremely pleased totally fixed my shotgun!
