SafetySight & HighBall Kit for Mossberg Tang Safety

Like most older mossberg owners I was plagued with high right POI especially with slugs. (And when I say high right I mean at 50 meters I was aiming at the floor to hit the steel!) This is due to recevier being so much higher than the bead that the shooter tilts the barrel up and right to see the bead. Between this kit and high ball sight its completely fixed my POI and I am very impressed.
Easy to fit and doesn't mess with ascetic of the firearm.
Please note on older Shotguns (mine is 1970's single action bar) the safety switch is an M4 screw instead of the provided M3 screw however this can easily be sourced and a M4 drill bit ran through the safety switch to accommodate the larger screw.
I also want to point out defender tactical were extremely helpful, professional and easy to deal with and even sourced me a detent plate (as they are hard to come by in the UK all on back order and cost about £45!!) as mine didn't have one as it had the old steel safety switch they sourced one quickly for a fraction of that price.

I liked the idea and the sight is nice but unfortunately the Allen screw supplied is about useless as it’s simply a round hole. I got everything together easy enough but when attempting to tighten the screw with the supplied wrench the wrench just spun. No big deal, grab the Allen set and just use the correct size, nope, they All spin. Take a close look and sure enough a perfectly round hole. Now I gotta take it apart again, go to the hardware store and find a suitable replacement. Not a big deal but still time I shouldn’t need to spend if QC was sufficient. I would recommend this product but know you need to check everything first

Very good quality products, very well finished, quality aluminum that fits perfectly on a Mossberg 500 flashlight mount. Discreet assembly and double location!! Without a doubt the best in accessories for shotguns!!

This Combo is exactly what I needed for my Mossberg 500 Home Defense Shotgun setup. The Highball front bead is a nice improvement over the factory bead that comes on the 18.5” Breacher barrel. These beads should be factory on all Mossberg barrels in my opinion. The safety has a very nice feel to it as well with a nice audible click when selecting safe/fire mode. All in all I couldn’t be happier with this product. The staff at Defender Tactical are very helpful, courteous, respectful, and undoubtedly have the best customer service I have ever received from any store ever. Great products, Great people. Will definitely be ordering more parts or future replacement parts from here for sure.
